I get many mails by completely new moms asking me to give recipes which increases the supply of breast milk. So i thought of sharing some recipe which my mom made for me after my delivery. Preparation Time : 5 minsCooking Time : 25 to 30 minsServes : 3 to 4Ingredients:Rice - 1 cupGarlic Cloves - 15 to 20Thippili / Long Pepper - 3 to 4Fenugreek Seeds / Methi / Vendayam - 1/4 tspCumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tspDried Ginger Powder / Chukku Podi - 1.5 tspMilk - 2 cup + 2 cupWater - 2 cupsSalt (optional)Method:Wash rice well in addition to add the item to pressure cooker.Add in all ingredients except the two cups of milk. Pressure cook for 4 whistle, simmer for 10 mins. Turn off the heat in addition to let the steam go all by itself.Open the cooker in addition to add in 2 cups of milk in addition to mix well.Serve.
