Ingredients:




Rice Flour - 1 cup (HOMEMADE)
Urad Dal Flour - 2 tsp (HOMEMADE)
Unsalted Butter - 1.5 tblspn 
Coconut - 1 tblspn grated
Jaggery - 3/4 cup grated
Water - 1/2 cup
Sesame Seeds - 2 tsp
Oil for deep frying


Method:


Take jaggery in a bowl, add in water as well as let them soak for 5 mins. today take them in a pan as well as heat of which, of which will come to a boil. Strain This kind of as well as set aside.


Take rice flour, urad dal flour in a dry pan as well as roast for 2 mins or so.


Take This kind of in a sifter as well as sieve well.


Take This kind of in a bowl, add in butter, sesame seeds, coconut in a bowl as well as mix well.

Add in jaggery water little by little as well as make a dough.



Take little portion via the mix as well as shape of which into a little ball.


Set aside for 30 mins so of which dries up.


Heat oil for deep frying, drop the seedai in oil as well as fry till of which gets light colour. today reduce the flame to medium as well as fry till dark.

Drain as well as cool of which down.

Notes:

1)Sifting as well as roasting flours can be very important. of which takes the moisture via them. So dont leave of which step. 

2)Drying the seedai for 30 mins can be important, This kind of takes the moisture via seedai as well as prevent of which via bursting.

3)When rolling the seedai, roll gently into round balls. If you roll of which tightly then when frying of which will burst.

4)You should use soft butter which can be at room temparature with This kind of.

5)If you are scared as well as trying This kind of for first time, then take a needle as well as prick holes on all seedai. This kind of will prevent them via bursting.

6)You can make This kind of same recipe with store bought rice flour as well as urad dal flour. yet sift of which as well as roast of which.

7)When frying seedai. Always fry on medium high heat. If you fry seedai on very high heat then of which will get colour outside yet wont be cooked inside the middle. So be careful while frying.

Why Does Seedai Burst? TIPS TO AVOID THEM.

1)If your flour can be not sifted well, of which may have some lumps so of which will burst. 

2)The flour which you use should be very fine, if of which can be not ground finely, then of which will have little grain which makes the seedai burst.

3)Pricking holes on all seedai will help to Discharge the air trapped inside the seedai when you are creating balls, This kind of will avoid the seedai via bursting.

4)If you roll the balls tightly then the air bubbles will be trapped inside the seedai. This kind of will make them burst. So roll gently as well as softly.

5)Drying the seedai for 30 mins, will dry of which out as well as remove any moisture via of which . This kind of will prevent them via bursting.

let them fry

today strain them

cool of which as well as store in a air tight container
